Talk about it in The General's Quarters
Twice is not always nice, but it certainly was for Jackson, Ky., athlete Channing Fugate, who's second trip to a Tennessee camp earned him a scholarship offer. An offer that Fugate quickly accepted on Thursday afternoon before heading back home to Kentucky with his parents.

Have not seen any discussion on this commitment.

Fugate about it...
That's a good one...:lolabove:

Guarantee you, ESPN or Bob Kessling is going to be saying that everytime he breaks one to the checkerboard...
Handoff to the Fullback, offtackle...to the 40, to the 30, to the 20, to the 10....might as well "Fugate about it!"

Watch this:
YouTube - Channing Fugate Offensive Highlights 08'

Kid is fun to watch. I love it how he sniffs an open seam, tucks his head (reminds me a bit of Lennon Creer, who would do the same thing), and turns on the jets.

It ain't everyday you get to see a white kid not only outrun db's, but pull away with authority. And he's a bruiser on top of that! Me likey. :good!:

Kentucky is going to regret not offering this kid in their own back yard

Those were without a doubt some of the WORST defenses Ive ever seen.
Now that's a brilliant deduction ...You could say the same for every offensive player's highlight reels...they ALL get blown up in the reels.
Please explain to us, professor...just how could you tell how well a defense is playing from a highlight reel where they get burned on every play shown? :birgits_giggle:

Cool your jets sparky. I have seen plenty of highlight films where the player in question simply out played the opposing defenses. This film is a terrible collect of horrible pursuit angles, piss poor tackling, and a decent player making a bunch of average AT BEST players look even worse.

And btw, you dont have to call me professor...its more of a honorary title than anything else. Thanks though.

I've seen the kid play alot...his real nick name is 'The Big Horse' and trust me--he is. Local print media and TV gave him the nickname two years ago.

Oh...you got me good. :eek:lol:If you played nothing but clips of our offensive highlights, against UF last year, you'd say the same about UF's defense...that they sucked. That is until you look at the scoreboard at the end of the game.
You can't sell us a pile of doo, mister...no matter what you call it

Im not trying to "get you good". And Im not knocking this kids ability. He might be the next Shawn Bryson for all I know about him. Im just saying that the defenses in the highlight reel were atrocious, and would make it hard to tell just how talented he really is. You asked me how I could tell how bad the defense was playing based on those highlight reels...simple. I have eyes.

Welcome aboard Mr Fugate, wish you nothing but the best at UT.

Again, professor, the Gators would look like trash too...when all you see is few good plays we made last year. But you have this magical vision, do you?
