It will be a season long competition between Harrison Bailey and Kaidon Salter.

I think Bailey, Hooker, and Salter all have a good shot. Hooker and Salter seem to be more mobile, so not sure how much that will factor in. I’ll be interested to see how it goes, and who wins out. It will be nice to have a fun offense again!

I watched some video yesterday and it appeared the Qb was running the RPO often and keeping the ball often. I’m not sure how Bailey will do if the video I watched is a good starting point to gauge the offense under Heupel.

Yeah if he doesn't fit the offense he could wind up transferring after spring practice or in December.

I think useless Salter just blows them away, it will be Hooker this year , Bailey backup , redshift Salter....then 4 years with Salter! But that's just a guess Bailey maybe better than both of them.

Not with the right offense. A qb who makes quick decisions, and is accurate can beat a pass-rush all day. That is the one thing I like about Heupel and his QB's.

I think we have three and possibly four good candidates to fight it out. Could very well start off with Hooker, and then Salter pressing him by end of year. Just my take.

The question is if Bailey is staying or not, per the quotes from his dad.

So, is there any thing to back them up or is his father just being self important on the internet. I guess we will find out.

Personally, it's nothing against Bailey as I like him, but I just don't care for a parent acting so self important.

He said he would not recruit or contact them. Does not mean that he won't allow one to come if he wants. The devil is in the details of what he said.
