Somebody e-mailed this to me,thought I would share it.

According to a proposed new law that would go into effect Jan 1, 2008 you will no longer be able to use a cell phone while driving unless you have a 'hands free' adapter. I went to Circuit City and they wanted $50 for a headset with a microphone for my cell phone. Having a friend in the cell phone business, I talked with him and was able to come up with an alternative, working through Office Depot.

These kits are compatible with any mobile phone and one size fits all. I paid him $0.08 each because he bought in quantity. Then we tried it with Motorola, S print,
Verizon and Nokia units and they worked perfectly.

A photo is attached so scroll down & take a look and let me know if you want one. Also, forward this to anyone you know, who has a cell phone, and who may want one!

We've had that law here for a few years. It doesn't accomplish much, though. $100 ticket, but there is really no way to get bagged for it. I actually use the phone on my nextel for 10 mins a month, anyhow, so i'm not worried.

But, being on the road alot, i can tell when your average person is on the phone....80MPH when they are talking, 55 when they are listening.

I support the law, only because some people really can't handle doing both at once. Anyhow, the cops that do traffic detail for us say they don't enforce it, as long as any attempt is made to hide it from them. The only way to get bagged is to sit at a light next to a cop blabbing away on the phone

I'm not sure if this was GiveHim6's intent but this actually began about 7 years ago as a joke e-mail, and the picture attached to Hohen's post was supposed to be attached.

Snopes has an item on it.

Most cell phones have a speakerphone option that works just as well. Just go Geiko caveman and put it on speaker.
