This was the last year of his rookie contract. Pay now or pay Cousins even more or go back to CJ Beathard.

Wife’s a Niner fan so I watched their 5 games with him...all wins (including the one against my Bears). He’s legit imo. Got that stone cold swag. They were a different team with him on the field.

I too am glad we're getting real Football coaching at UT, but pay for what you get? Remember jones? As far as I'm concerned he was paid $6,000,000.00/year more than he was worth. In short, we seriously Overpaid jones, we did not get what we paid for.:hi:

Fair enough, good point. It is just good to see that money was not an issue in forming Pruitt's staff.
