Sorry if I am "looking ahead", guys. I just can't hold in this ill will any longer.

I apologize in advance to the moderator, but I figured this would be OK, given the existence of a bird-flicking smilie on this website.

GO VOLS, BABY!!

Screw Georgia. We need to give them a history lesson, as in the series history from 1989 - 1999.

I've lived in GA most of my life as a Vols fan- and I gotta say-

recently, they have garnered the "Most Arrogant and Annoying Fans" award. They finally wrestled this award away from Gator fans- who have won it nine times in a row prior. =)

Seriously, GA fans act like that poor person that wins the lottery- and doesn't know to handle it!

i've lived in GA my whole life too and lemme tell you...what happened in 2001 was probably the worst thing that could happen in the UGA/UT series. It gave them something to rail on about...anytime you bring up anything negative about UGA's football team they respond with the 'hobnailed boot' phrase.

Now let me say that i thought it was a great piece of brodcasting by Larry Munson. I respect munson. And although it did happen to our vols...it still hurt. And UGA fans STILL FLIPPIN TALK ABOUT IT. but i guess we do too with the whole streak from 89 to 99...

Go VOls....whoop Uga's butt and let's show em what Tennessee Football is all about.

This is why college football is so great. We start hating early and often and our rivals can be your neighbor or brother. Here's to a great game and continuing CMR's domination of CPF.
GooooOOOOOO DAWGS SIC'EM

Field Goal Jesus the Current Head Football Coach at UGA Athens. Can't take any credit, it is all Hat's imagination.

I cant wait for this game. It should really tell us where we stand this year considering we haven't been really tested up to this point (except for the CU debacle).

It will definitely be interesting to see how the Dogs recover from losing Greene (and Shockley) in the next few seasons.

Me too. Though I think Stafford is going to be a Great QB but he is young and is going to have some mistakes . Joe C looked good in the final 2 qtrs against CU. Now they are saying that Joe T will be back in time for the UT game. I hate QB contreversies.

At the Falcons game 2 weeks ago the Georgia fan in front of me was going on and on about Stafford. "He's the next John Elway, he will be the #1 pick in the draft in 4 years."

This, btw, was after his 10 for 17 107 yards passing game, and his 8 for 19, 171 yards and 3 picks.

I can't wait for the next Falcons home game when I see him again. It will be after the Tennessee game.

So you are saying that he won't be the next John Elway? cause if that the case I agree with you I think he wins the Super Bowl much earlier in his NFL career. :) Come on he is a freshman with 4 college games under his belt, behind a thin o-line, with receivers that cant catch a cold, running backs that couldn't find a hole in a 2 dollar whore house and he is playing in the SEC. Barring all of that he has shown great potential, poise and a heck of an arm. I think he is going to be great and will lead the DAWGs to many, many victories. JMO

I have no doubt he will be good. Such comparisons are hilarious though. If I remember correctly Shockley was pretty highly touted until Greene came and took the job away from him. (Like Cox could).

That Cox kid probably disagrees with you.
