my Niece was there when it happened and could not reach her for hours....
I will never forget...
USA USA USA USA USA
Yeah...I was selling them at the time. Watched everything take place on the TV at the Arch Wireless office at Papermill and Kingston Pike.
I’ve never been the same.
I took my kids to the memorial two summers ago as well, on the 4th of July. My daughter was born on 9/12/02....so she has always had a fascination around those events.I was in my 8:00 economics class when the department secretary walked in and told us all to go back to our dorms or apartment immediately. Her face was stained with tears. I remember my first thought was it had to be an accident. As I walked into my apartment, my roommates were huddled around the TV. The second plane hit soon after. I don’t remember what I did after that, but I’ve never felt such fear, anger, and sheer confusion as that day.
I took my girls to the site of the WTC two years ago and I couldn’t approach the memorial. It was too much. Still, 18 years later, it makes me want to cry.
So many people lost their lives that day, let’s leave the conspiracy theories rest...just for today. This is their day.
