An interesting thing happens on the live game threads. Usually starts just before half-time. Their posts are cut-and-paste, week to week. Butch is a putz, Dobbs, because he can’t pass, needs to be replaced by ____ (whoever their favorite is), Shoop needs to go, Debord deserves to be fired, Azzani is an ignoramus, O-lone is useless, kicker can’t kick, ect. They, of course, have all the answers. They’re more cerebral than Dobbs, more coachy than our coaches, and more VFL than anybody ever and this is why they’re boldly stepping up to let us know that this year the Vols suck bigtime.
The thing that disappoints, however, is that from the first game on, these jackasses keep screaming that they’re through with this season. But like dogsqueeze on a shoe, they can’t be shaken off. Is there any way of letting these dunces know that the threads will not suffer if they withhold their genius and actually do as they promise and go away?

It's a waste of time to hammer on a negavol. They are just trying to survive. Venting on Volnation is a way for them to get thru the game.

I've never known of the Vols winning on a Hail Mary, so I'm in unchartered waters. 5-0 been there done that, time to get ready for A&M.

#120 is so talented no game is beyond winning, we need to tighten up on some details and put a good game plan together for A&M and then go execute.

At some point I would like to ice a close game on offense, but that's just being picky on how we win, keep winning and as long as my heart don't explode I'll be like, "Go Vols!", all day long.

I can't bring myself to ignore anyone. I suffer thru it for some reason. I kinda enjoy their nonsensical posts. I never posted negs but my posts have been ridiculed at times.

I've been as nega as anybody through the first 3.5 games, but the comments about Hurd after his fumble were so beyond ridiculous, almost makes me sympathize with A. Foster

All of the dumbest posts on Volnation seem to be made by people during games and before the outcome is decided. And it seems that the same people repeatedly make this same bone-headed move over and over...

I hope UT wins every game. Funny thing is many people on this board change their mind very quickly. Many who are complaining about negavols will become negative with a loss. Especially if it happens to be one that shouldn't happen. (South Carolina/Missouri )

The opposite must have it's positives. Germans pay to have pain inflicted upon them...these guys get it for free. :) Just had a stray thought, we have men and women posters on VN. Why can't I recall a female Negavol? :question:

So negavols should remain silent, while the "believers" pretend they knew it was going to work out? Play calling will be exposed soon enough. Then everyone will be nega-minded.
