That's ridiculous. He's one of the guys Barnes is referring to when he talks about guys 'HIDING'. He's got a choice. find the energy or find the splinters.I think that when Bowden draws extremely challenging defensive assignments we just can't expect him to step up on the offensive end at the same time. He works very hard on defense and simply doesn't carry the same energy to the other end of the court.
Even if he isn't scoring, opponents still must respect his ability to drain 3s. Having him on the floor results in Williams having more space to operate in the paint. Creating on offense just isn't in his repertoire.

I dare ANYBODY to show me a game where Bowden plays BIG in big games. I have always said he plays as SCARED as they come in Big Games!! Just look at his career. But he will go 5-7 on 3pointers vs small schools or in blowout games that TEnn is supposed to win !!
