or anyone closer to kville than I am. I havent heard much lately about the vols putting in a new zone blocking scheme. All I keep hearing as it relates to offense is the no huddle. anybody heard anything lately about the o-line and zone blocking? I had high hopes about this. I think this could be really effective. thanks

It wasn't effective when we tried to implement it with Jimmy Ray Stephens as the OL coach.

To zone block you have to be able to block straight up first, and we can't (or haven't been able to).

but, am I crazy? I could've sworn I read or heard on the radio that they were trying that.

I thought it would serve them well because when they play really quick and athletic fronts that like to move around and stunt, they really stunk it up.
