Seriously, do some research. They are made for kids under 13 years old. How do you guys not know this?

Go look it up. I'm being dead serious. When the PS1 first came out it was made for younger kids. They haven't changed the design at all since then besides adding and extra bumper to the top. It's the same design.

Then his grand kids should be ok.

I more or less only use the 360 for ESPN3 on my tv anymore. It's $50/year (IIRC?) for XBox Live Gold to be able to use that app, and your ISP has to support it (listed here: ESPN3.com FAQ ). However if a game is blacked out in your area, it will still be blacked out on the XBox.

Thank everyone for your response.

From the responses, I am going to forget trying to watch the blackout games.

I am thinking for a 7 and 8 year old, the PS3 with a few games may be the better option, and I can also use it as a blu-ray player.

Is there any reason you're not considering a Wii? The Wii (and it's games) is probably more in line with 7 & 8 year olds.

I'm a PS3 owner, so if it's between the PS3 and the 360 I would go with the PS3. If you've got grandkids than I'm sure they have Blu-ray movies...

I think having two of both is the answer. Getting a PS3 later this year to complete a set.

They both have the Wii at their homes. I wanted to get a different game to keep at my home .

Maybe you should get the same system so they can bring their favorite games over?

That wouldn't be fun for them.... lol

I am going with the PS3.
They both like wrestling, so I'm going to get a WWE game then take them and let them pick out a couple of games a piece.

I want to thank each one of you that replied.
I realize some on here like the 360 better, but from all the comments, I believe the PS3 is the best choice at this time.
