Wife and I are going to Nate Bargatze show later in the month at food city center. I got the tickets through Ticketmaster, but haven't looked into the parking side of it yet. Anyone have any experience or guidance for this non-athletic event for the parking aspect. I don't know if this qualifies for a large or small event, so the UT website didn't help as much as id like. Am I better off to just show up a couple hours early and go to AG Campus parking and ride a shuttle (if available?), or should I buy beforehand and "follow the prepaid parking signs?"......not sure where to go for that?

Any help is much appreciated.

If I don't have a parking pass, I usually park right behind the outfield of LNS in the lots at the end of frat row .

Parking doesn't show until roughly 4 hours before an event. You can park in G10 or across the street from the Arena (large multi-level garage) for free if you beat parking. Otherwise, it's generally 20 bucks to park. There will be plenty of spaces in G10 next to the arena. If you park in G10, I recommend going down to the bottom. You'll have to walk a little to get in but you'll save tons of time with traffic after.

Also, the lot behind the outfield was actually being manned by parking for the KY game. Not sure if they will do that for concerts. This was the first time I've seen it manned.

Ag campus shuttle is available, but it can be time consuming. If you don't mind waiting after the show and aren't in a hurry, it's easy enough to use. You'll see signs for it on Neyland as you approach. Turn right on Neyland when leaving and quickly hop on the interstate.

No need to pre-purchase parking.
