I just went to get another brew, and the Killians I thought I had is gone. Now I am faced with a moral dilemna. My son has two bottles of Newcastle in his fridge. I haven't shaved for three days, am wearing lounging pants and an old UT sweatshirt of 70s vintage. To go out for beer would be a chore, my wife won't be home from work for 2 hours. Should I take one of the Newcastles or not? Your opinion is needed, I will abide by the answers. Please hurry!

My initial advice is, take the newcastle.

However, upon further review, I just don't think 2 will be enough...so, my advice is, pour the newcastle in a cup, drink it on your way to the store....you're going to need more beer.

I agree Jay. Two newcastles= 40 minutes (on a slow day)

Thanks guys, the first Newcastle just got opened. I like the idea of drinking them both. I knew I could count on the Nation. Go Vols, cream Memphis.

Drink them both and if he says something to you, politely remind him that he came out of the head of your *(you know what)* that should shut him up. Hell, he may even buy a case afterwards.

What I don't understand is how he can buy more expensive beer than me!

Reminds me of my Dad's view on "allowance"....we were allowed to sleep under his roof, we were allowed to eat at his table, we were allowed clothes to wear....so no he didn't pay us to clean our rooms our mow the yard.

Drinking at 230pm, you are a good man and I hoist one with you. I was looking for a drinking partner on my day off anyway. My beer of the afternoon is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale-then on to Black and Tan

Agreed. Never start drinking without enough on hand to get a good buzz, otherwise you'll be out on the road with booze on your breath.

After what has happened this past week or two, telling someone to drink beer on the way to the store isn't the best advice to give. I do approve of drinking both of the newcastle's though, good call.

"Hit a parked car and run from the police" wasn't part of the advice.

Damn! I am getting thirsty!

This thread has inspired me to pick up a six pack of Newcastle for game watching tomorrow night. Weight loss be damned!
