Awful argument. Just because some other idiots didn't know how to post doesn't give you any excuse to post that in the football section.Well let's see. I thought if we could talk about BBQ places in the TG thread and about Baseball in our most recent QB commit thread, then why not relevant BB news in the football forum. However, feel free to move it...:salute:
So basically, Pops was on a normal basketball scholarship until he got injured. He was taken off regular scholarship and put on what they call a "medical scholarship" which is basically meaning he's hurt but the school will still honor a scholarship. The medical scholarship doesn't count towards our 13 regular scholarships but are only used if the player can't play. So with Pops freeing up one regular scholarship, its most likely going to Brandon Lopez the current back up PG and walkon. So because I have absolutely no idea how scholarships and redshirts and everything else works, is there some scenario where Pops can continue to be a student and presumably graduate while having his BB scholly freed up? I don't know what happens when someone has this type of injury before the season even starts.
I'd like him to be able to graduate (assuming that he wants to), but if someone emerged that could be a better candidate for his scholarship, it would be nice to have a win/win.
