I think the Vols will win rather easily (they are favorites lest we drink too much koolaid). A TOB coached team with Mr. Dana "Predictable" Bible calling the plays, the first game of the season, against an SEC team not starting with "V" or "K", is a recipe for a blowout....

For the past 50 years, TN has had better recruiting classes while running a loose program whereas TOB chops wood with 50th ranked classes and cuts have of them before they play. If TN doesn't win, shame on them. Long season ahead in the SEC.

I think we lose by a couple TDs.

Saw this on a message board. They all seem a little weary of this game. GO BIG ORANGE. 2 MORE DAYS!!

Just take of biznezz and all will be fine.

I think the make-up of this game will be defined on the first series. If we go on D a quick 3 and out could set the tone for the rest of the game, followed by a TD on offense. When you go down the rosters and compare these two teams there are no excuses for TN. With 17 returning starters, many of whom are in their 3rd year, just take care of business and beat down a mid-tier ACC team. If Dooley and Co. can't do that after three years with this core on offense, then it will be a long season that results in a lot of for sale signs in Knoxville.

Hi VolNation.

The comment about the predictable play calling was spot-on. We hope (for the Wolfpack's sake) that Bible can shake things up a little bit. Easier said than done though with our inexperienced receiving corps. However, Glennon is capable of finding targets, wide open or otherwise, down the field when given the chance to sling it.

NegaWolf, LOL! That's a keeper.
