ncaa football 11 delay? PS3

Anyone ever experience like a user delay in head to head ? Im not talking about internet lag. Lately its like when I do user catch or picks or anything really its does it a sec or 2 late. My controller is fully charged, mine and opponent's connection is good. Its also a new controller . Broke my joy sticks on last 2. It's costed me a few games and getting annoying jw if yall have had this prob?

Sometimes EA servers hitch when there are several animations going on screen at once.
