We have the same overall rating as number 5 LSU and just a little behind number 6 Alabama and i think were rated higher than number 11 Ole Miss.

But are those ratings gonna be different with the real EA roster that comes out tommorrow?

I doubt EA is going to take the time to redo every player rating in the game, I'm guessing they will add players to a team until they hit the MAX 70 players. Also, they will fix the teams that have no freshmen, few freshmen, and graduated seniors on the rosters.

I honestly do think they put hardly anytime into the rosters anymore. Customized named rosters are what everyone seeks and they know it.

Heard a nasty nasty rumor that customized rosters wouldn't be availible this year due to some college athlete sueing EA over how easy it is to get those..

Any truth..?

EA Locker will be in this game so that is false. His name is Sam Keller, he was the QB at Arizona State and Nebraska. I doubt he wins the suit.

Nebraska's Sam Keller took a lawsuit to EA a while back. nothing was ever really said or ruled on it from what I recall.

Ex-NCAA Quarterback Sues Electronic Arts Over Games (Update2) - Bloomberg.com (this one is much more detailed)

The issue was not the name thing, it was that the game violated whatever b/c the generated players were made in the image of the actual college players, and thus that they (the players) deserved to receive (or were robbed of) money since they were using them for their games...it was just Keller - who wasn't going to get any money as a pro anytime soon - trying to get some money in court.

As far as I can tell, nothing was done or ruled on it at all yet

People can add the names later and they've established a way to get that info spread out to everyone quickly. They can't put them in beforehand though b/c having every college player's name in a product sold for profit would violate alot of ncaa rules about student athletes.

They do a pretty nice job of working around it now though.
