Figured we should have a bad beats thread where we can all wallow in the misery of those games that should have been won, but were lost by factors beyond our own control... I'll start off.

New dynasty mode as Oregon State, first game is week 2 at Boise State. Let me preface this by saying Boise State is a pretty damn good team in this game. Not much depth but the first string has some amazing talent all-around. They get up on me early, 21-7 in the second quarter. Zabransky is absolutely on fire, even Sabby Piscitelli is getting burned. I battle back through the third and early fourth quarters, field goal, TD, two-point conversion to pull within 3, 21-18 Boise State on top. Two minutes to go, I need the ball for a quick score FTW. On the first series of Boise State's drive, they get to 3rd and 1, and Eddie Stamm gets a huge sack. Milo celebrates and gets ready for a punt return... Or not. Unsportsmanlike. Fifteen yards. And the next play... and the next. And the next. Three of those four from EDDIE STAMM, that @$$. Leave it to an ex-Beaverton High School player to screw the game up. I unwittingly just gave up 60 yards to them, and they have an easy goal right there.

What a horrible beat.

I had one that was almost a bad beat.

I was up on Bama by twenty something points when suddenly a Tide slot WR goes streaking down the sidelines uncovered by my dime defense that was not blitzing anyone (not sure how that happened). Anyway, Bama scored and then got an onside kick. I wasn't really paying attention. Well they scored again and now I am starting to get nervous. I put it my "onside recover team" this time and somehow they manage to recover it again!

I think I ended up winning by a couple of points.

Boise is tough in there. I played them with my dyansty with Hawaii and I was lucky to stay in the game. They ended up beating me 24-17.

I had 6 turnovers against Memphis and still beat them 48 - 10.

I just finished off UGA and Bama late last night. UGA was tough in their house. I won 28-17 and I only beat Bama 30-8. Of course by then, I had been playing 7 hours straight.

i had something similar to the unsportsmanlike fiasco happen to me, you just cant let the game cam focus on your player too long, if you skip ahead it won't flag you anywhere near as often. I was playing one of my buddies who had picked USC and I had Louisville, momentum was on my side as I had just put together a 5 minute drive for 80 yards to go up by 2, he drove the ball to within field goal range, and I sacked him to take him out. Unsportsmanlike hit to put him back in. Heck if I made a huge sack to take someone out of field goal range at the end of a game I would probably celebrate too.

The celebration calls kill me. They usually don't hurt me that bad, but they're still annoying.

Ainge threw a 90 yard TD pass and then decided that he would do pushups on the field. There's just no stopping that.
