There were a few guys who had better games against us than him. Andrew Armstrong (Arkansas) fared the best against us; he went 9 for 132. Ryan Williams and Chimere Dike had nice games, although Williams is so dynamic it felt like we contained him pretty well (and McCoy made that incredible INT defending him). Kevin Coleman (Miss St) went 5 for 68. UTEP even had a guy (Kenny Odom) that went 8 for 70.I wonder if any other WR we played had a better stat line?
I think it will be a very large $$$ amount . Everybody, at least every fan base on twitter was showing out wanting him to come to their school when it was announced. He would be a great fit here, Bama, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, etc…I’ll trust our staff to figure out if the juice is worth the squeeze . I’d say he’s comparable to Velus Jones in our offenseAgree. But not sure how much we are shopping for a slot and how much will it take
In another thread we were discussing that despite all of Heupel's offensive success, Velus is probably the only "make a catch, then make a guy miss" WR that he's had.I think it will be a very large $$$ amount . We’ve been missing that. It may not be Concepcion, but we need a utility type player who can take a jet sweep and take that quick hitter for a big gainer. Jones did that repeatedly in 2021.In another thread we were discussing that despite all of Heupel's offensive success, Velus is probably the only "make a catch, then make a guy miss" WR that he's had.
We badly need a WR like him again.
