NC State WR KC Conception in portal

By far NC State’s best player, and they probably don’t win a couple of games without him. I would bet Heupel has already reached out. He’d be crazy not to.

X/Z: Brazzell and Matthews
Slot: Rotate KC and Squirrel.

Yes please.

Also, go get Carnell Tate after Ohio State face plants in the playoff and Ryan Day gets fired.

I certainly hope we reach out here. We have probably the best returning QB in the SEC. Dude would absolutely eat in this offense.

We do not have the best returning QB in the SEC, at least not at this moment.

We have the QB with the highest ceiling, but this league will be loaded with QB's next year.

Who is the best returning QB then?

Before you say Arch, he's got like 2 starts under his belt. And while he was impressive, it was against very weak competition. It's hardly enough data to call him the best returning QB.

Milroe, Beck, Dart, and Ewers are all gone. So unless Nussmeier returns, Nico certainly seems like the best returning QB to me.

I suppose an argument can be made for Sellers. He and Nico have virtually the same stat line. But that's just arguing semantics at that point.

Good points. I was going to say Lagway just because of the Gators turnaround since he took over the offense, but truthfully his stats are nothing special.

I will concede this point, Nico is the best returning QB.

Laugh all you want but Sellers at SC might be the best.

Sellers is good too. But there is discernable difference in he and Nico. Nico is also peaking lately. If we make a deep playoff run and he plays well in the process, he will be the odds on favorite to win the Heisman in 2025.

I think Sellers has a higher floor but lower ceiling than Nico.

and to me its hard to compare the type of success each has been having. Nico's success has largely been "on script", a good chunk of Seller's success comes "off script". Sellers has more success with the deep ball, and his legs scrambling; but Nico has more command of the offense rather than relying on back yard ball. both require skill, but they are different skills that are difficult to compare head to head.

He had 5 catches for 53 yards against our secondary. Might wanna curb that hyperbole.
He also didn't have our talent blocking, throwing the ball or designing plays. The guy is illusive and yes he could be that deep guy we need. I don't know if he is as fast as Hyatt which I doubt, but he can absolutely make plays

Our secondary is pretty good and he had Grayson McCall throwing him the ball in a Dave Doeren offense. I think if you have KC in a lineup with other talented guys like Matthews, Squirrel and Brazzell he would be a great addition and make plays. I don’t really find that to be too hyperbolic.
