Personally I think if we don't get two portal RBs then we damn sure need to get Jayzon Thompson from Bearden/Anderson Co. As the 2nd back as a PWO with NIL to bootYeah, especially with Bishop becoming a upperclassmen and Duane looks like a stud. Who knows how good Baker is too.
Bishop is definitely a solid rb2 but isnβt explosive enough to be rb1. I feel like he is the type to be fine with us bringing in someone to split the carries withBishop is fine but offers VERY limited home-run ability. How many explosives did he have bc of himself in the four games against a teams with a winning record that were not against Alabama? Like genuinely asking. Had VERY rough games against UGA and OU. Bishop is solid but there is nothing about him that would make you think he takes another step forward. He's fulfilled his talent to the absolute fullest. That's why people (rightfully so) view him as a high end Robin. This offense is going to make any back look good with light boxes and minimum six blockers. It is one cut and go. Wright/Sampson were electric runners and elevated offense to another level beyond just getting 5 yards over and over. Tennessee needs that explosive playmaker in the backfield again. Peyton was supposed to be that guy. Did not work out as hoped
