NC/SC All Star Team

[NC VOL]

I'm a Vol in E. NC, and on a regional sports talk radio show today, the following question was asked after the disasterous weekend that saw both North and South Carolina's top college programs go 1-6 (with the one win coming over another NC team--Wake beating Duke). Anyway the question--

Would a North Carolina/South Carolina all-star team be about to win a national championship?

I didn't hear one caller come close to claiming so, and most wondered who would QB such a team. The two best NC QBs that I can think of will be at Neyland Stadium on Saturday with one spending a bunch of time on his back seeing a big Orange jersey out of his helmet ear hole.

No real point to be made here, but I found the discussion interesting, and if some low points happen for the Vols this year, just remember it could be worse, you could be forced to cheer for a Carolina team.

People in North Carolina are kinda what people in Tennessee used to be with basketball.

You know when Buzz was here you'd watch a couple games they'd beat ETSU and Austin Peay, and get hammered in the SEC. Or pull the ole' beat the hell out of Kentucky and lose to the EA Sports Womens All Star team. What I'm trying to say is NC people kinda watch the games and if there winning their the biggest fan alive but if they lose there like oh whatever we have basketball. Stupid ACC fans.
