I think we will be fine, because this is the only season where we have mind numbingly shot ourselves in the foot at this and been completely incapable of playing complimentary football at the level we are seeing right now. I don't think that will just become the norm. If it does the next two weeks we are maybe screwed.

You have a better pool of coaching candidates if the program is not on probation. Not to mention, Tennessee is not considered a top-tier job.

Exactly. And, Danny White doesn't strike me as someone making decisions based on fan pressure. If we lose to Georgia, Alabama , Oklahoma, Florida ; and Vandy this year, I dont believe White would be close to pulling the plug. But, there will be questions about winning the big games.

The only fan pressure DW cares about is season ticket sales. If that falters, it's real. Otherwise, text a friend.

One other thing, I’m sure you already know, they know, whether it be coaches talking, he’s lack of any kind of effort this season on film (a lot of this I lay on Josh and his staff. They knew this in the off season, hell, we all did). I hope all teams he farms himself out to has took notice how messy this has become, but, it could have been avoided when there was the first hint of this instead of letting this fester all this time. I think there’s been some missteps here and I’m all about giving a second chance. But this went beyond what it should have. I personally am glad finally he’s gone. Now save the locker room.
