I’m really excited about Faizon Brandon. In an ideal world Nico has an incredible year next year for us with Merk as the backup and G-Mac redshirting. Then Nico leaves and it’s a 3 way battle for the starting QB spot when Brandon steps on campus as a freshman. Merk would be a RS Sophomore at that point, Mac a RS Freshman, and Brandon a true freshman. Would be a battle with 3 really talented QBs.

Also has 300 rushing yards,

If he turns around and does the same thing next season, he’s gone.

Anthony Richardson is all you need to look at.

I'm not so sure about that. With NIL dollars being significant I think we are going to see young QB's opt into staying in college to master their offense before going into the league......

#1) They aren't missing out on money on the front end

2) They get to polish their craft before going into the league. The league has been churning and burning a lot of young QB's recently. The incentive to stay in college for another year or two makes sense.

We under appreciate some of the things Nico has done this year, but he’s a freak. That playground scramble for the 1st down against Vandy was beautiful. And he’s freaking fast.

Good. It was a joke.

I think he'll look pretty solid next year and I think he'll get drafted...since maybe Halzle will finally figure out how to run an offense...or Heup will.

This kid frame screams 6’4 230 with enough athleticism to be a big time WR or LB. Just so happens to have a rocket attached to his arm. GMac better bring it, because this kid will touchdown to cause hell. I’m high on GMac as well though, I believe he’s a Nico clone. Will need to add weight but can make every throw along with having scrambling ability. Do not overlook the fact that GMac can drop 40 points on a basketball court.

If you look at Brandon throw, he throws a perfect spiral and it goes exactly where he needs it to go.

And it’s effortless.
Do you remember those Nerf balls? The ones that whistled when you threw them?
The way he throws a regular football is how other HS QBs would throw a nerf ball. He’s as good a runner as Hendon. More accurate than Hendon.
But with the arm talent of Joe Milton. GMAC doesn’t stand a chance. And probably not Merklinger either. Because Nico will leave and Faizon arrives. And that’s crazy to think about, because both of those guys are so talented…

I think the only QB that would keep Faizon Brandon on the bench is a RS Junior Nico Imalaeava . But Nico is probably gone after 2025 season.
