The Class of 2021 offensive tackle from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, N.C., told 247Sports' Don Callahan that the offer he picked up Tuesday from nearby North Carolina was "a game-changer," and he now needs "to take another look at everything again" before deciding what's next in his recruitment.

"I was thinking about actually narrowing everything down and going ahead and committing," Pounds told Callahan. "But, now that they're interested, it's like I've got to reevaluate everything."

"I mean, it means a lot because I've got a lot of friends that's committed there and stuff," said Pounds, who has received offers from more than 35 schools. "It's a game-changer. ... I like UNC. It's close to home. It's a great football program, and they've got a good class for 2021."
