'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee)

I’m always struck by how lean he is, and I mean that positively. He hasn’t been just pushing his hs comp around because he’s the size of a truck, he’s been winning with athleticism and strength.
He looks like an SDE that has been in a college S&C program for a year or so. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t around 305-310 of good weight by the start of the season.

He looks like former New York Jets left tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Similar lean build and elite level athleticism. Sanders will play a lot next year and be a high 1st round picks in 2028.

He's a franchise left tackle at the next level.

Russell and St. Clair aren’t better than Underwood.

Sounds like they were butthurt he didn’t do their camp:

Alabama signee Keelon Russell takes over the No. 1 spot in the Rivals250 and this was hotly debated among him, Ohio State’s Tavien St. Clair (the previous top player) and Michigan’s Bryce Underwood.

When it came down to decision time, we felt Russell had an incredible senior season and he was awesome at the Under Armour Game. He provides a dynamic quality that is so rare.
If he’s a carbon copy of Jayden Daniels, then he deserves the No. 1 spot.

If Underwood did an all-star event or any events over the summer (Elite 11 or Rivals Five-Star) and wowed, then we would’ve been more inclined to move him up but Russell, St. Clair and Underwood are the first three off the board and that’s a pretty solid list.”

I saw an “anonymous” NIL thread on On3, and one ACC coach said Sanders might have gotten one of, if not the, largest NIL deal in the Country.

We’re back baby!

That would be embarrassing if true cause he's neither a QB nor the #1 player in the country. This would mean we massively overpaid. Paying a premium to get players to come to Tennessee is not a flex.

I say again..

Position of need.

Filled with top talent.

You somehow find an issue with it.

Every team has positions of need. I don't see Ohio State and Georgia paying a premium to get top talent. And they sign more 5-stars than we do. Once again this is embarrassing and shows that our program is not top tier. We have to overpay to get one five star recruit while other programs can get several for less.

Hopefully we start winning and can change this narrative.

Yep, would rate right up there with scoring an 8.2 on the Homer Troll index jumping on an anonymous report WITHOUT verifying it with other credible sources.

You are splitting hairs between the top 3 left tackles and it's the 2nd most important position of the field. Based off of ceiling I think Sanders is 1. He's just leaner right now but posses more athleticism.

This is an ignorant post.

OSU supposedly had one of the highest payrolls in the entire sport last season yet they didn’t pay a premium for anyone?

You think Judkins left Ole Miss and went there for funsies?

Also we are winning. Averaging 10 wins over the last 3 seasons and made the playoff this year.

Just such an ignorant post all around. Bravo.
