He’s apparently very impressive in the weight room. I think he’ll test well and combine that with on field production this year will land him on an nfl team whether it’s through the draft or after. Our whole dline will get their shot at the draft by time pro day is behind them. I’d venture to guess also we’ll have a couple players have a senior bowl appearance that could move them from udfa to draft prospect. Not sure what you’ve seen from Simmons over the past 4 years to think he’s getting drafted. He’s been more of a VN hero than a highly productive DT. Hope he ends his career here on a high note and gets a shot at the NFL butt at this point he looks like an UDFA in my opinion.
I think Simmons is having much better this year, compare to his prior years. He is getting more playing time and doesn't seem to be taking plays off when he is in the game. I am not sure he will be drafted, but he may be make it as a free agent. It depends on his willingness to put in the work. He’s apparently very impressive in the weight room. Strength and progression. He’s refined his block shedding skills under G and is now a top 5 SEC DTNot sure what you’ve seen from Simmons over the past 4 years to think he’s getting drafted. -VQTennessee is very much in the mix for former Clemson commit Isaiah Campbell. They have been privately working on him for a long time and after teasing it for months, he finally did it on Saturday. He will be here for the Alabama game and as of now, it feels like Tennessee is in prime shape in this one. Notre Dame is also pushing here but as of now, it’s Tennessee and North Carolina who are getting visits.
