'25 NC DL Isaiah Campbell (Tennessee)

Call me crazy, but I think this could possibly hurt our chances. Everyone knew Brown was a dead man walking and they may actually hire somebody competent this time.

Competent? I am not going to say UNC should have kept Mack because they are trash this year but in all fairness, he has done a lot of good for UNC twice.

I'm sure if you live in Carolina it's fantastic.

Just like if you live in Knox, having UTK is great.

If he truly wanted to go to medical school, and it were about that. He'd be in Nashville, at Vanderbilt. Yet, here we are. So, I call BS.

Regarding medical school: no. He would be at Duke.

...how did we get on the topic of medical school? Undergrads at UT get into medical school every year. Not sure why you all would think a desire to go to medical school would really hurt UT that much. Obviously it doesn't have the academic reputation that Duke and Vandy do, but it's not like it's insanely more difficult to progress from UT.

Early signing period is December 4th - 6th so unless they hire someone between now and then OR he waits to sign in February one would assume the news today makes the decision that much easier.

No offense but, IMG_6058.jpeg

We'll see what this kid decides to do. Curious to know if they knew this was coming or if it blindsided them. Will be interesting to see if they clean-house and hire a new staff or promote from within.

Unless they promote from within the new staff will likely have to focus on transfers and swaying unsigned guys at the second signing day.

I mean really, the staff either didn't know and is probably scrambling to tell these guys to not sign on the 4th and telling Campbell to wait or they knew and there's a successor in place and the kids knew ahead of time. If UNC commits start dropping like flies we will know.

Perhaps you could click back through the thread and see that another poster brought it up.
