"My recruitment has been going good, just trying to take it slow," Davis told VolReport. "I think they (college coaches) like my ability to stop the run and still being able to get to the quarterback on pass plays."

Davis described his initial reaction to the Tennessee offer with VolReport.

"Pure excitement," Davis said. "I saw what they did this year, and they are a really good team, so it was a really good offer."

"I'm going to keep talking to my parents and I'm going to try and get down there soon," Davis said.
