UT IN GOOD SHAPE WITH FOUR-STAR SAFETY

After announcing earlier this year that he was reclassifying from the 2024 class to the 2023 class, four-star safety Zack Myers of Christ School in Arden, N.C., was back at Tennessee on March 26 to attend the Vols’ first Saturday practice of the spring. He now has visited Tennessee five times over the past 10 months, and he admitted after his latest trip to Knoxville that the Vols were his leader. Sources close to his recruitment still believe Tennessee is in good shape with him coming off his trip to South Carolina last weekend.

The spring evaluation period still could shake things up in Myers’ recruitment, to some degree, with several major programs expected to take a closer look at him now that he has reclassified to the 2023 class. But right now there are multiple factors working in the Vols’ favor with Myers, and they’re expected to remain one of the favorites to land him throughout his recruitment.
