When the circus ended in Miami this offseason, D-Wade made a comment that he was now apart of "arguably, the best trio in NBA history."

Thoughts?

Kinda what I was thinking Mania. That was a pretty arrogant statement Wade made IMO.

He has a ring, which is why Lebron and that tag along Bosh came. Im sure D-Wade is all good.

Well, Id say that, but he's still cleaning up after his latest word vomit.

shaq did take alot of double teams...but wade took over the playoffs..his best sidekicks since shaq were a rookie in beasley and a broken down jermaine o'neal..shawn marion was here for one year

I think Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Mano ought to have some consideration too.

not at all, he needed a big man to take some of the pressure off of him. wade was the star of the team, but the last 3 games of the series shaq avg 15 and 12

I think we all agree that the Chicago trio is far and above the rest. Im saying the San Antonio trio is better than Wade/LBJ/Bosh.

easy now...only time will tell. while the spurs were good, i wouldn't put them above miami. if we go on talent and potential alone i'll go w/ miami. but what remains to be seen is how well they play w/ each other

I will withhold judgement until they get to play some. I think a big part of a trio is how they compliment each other and interact. Sure, Wade and James are huge individual stars, but it remains to see how they and Bosh do sharing the ball and creating for each other.

Bosh, like I said, is a tag along. He was a big fish in a crappy pond before now. He'd be best served staying the hell out of the way of the other two and not missing his free throws.

As far as withholding judgment until you see them play, that's crap. We have. We watched them play for the US team.

I'm not sure it's even the best current trio in the NBA, much less all-time.

Bryant, Gasol, and Artest continue to pile up the hardware.
