I could see all eight western teams getting back to the playoffs. I'm not sure about the Suns/Grizzlies though.

I agree with Bulls, Cavs, Wizards in East. I might put Nets at 9 or 10 though. Deron Williams is only declining at this point, and Joe Johnson would need to have another great year. And I don't know about Lopez, health is a concern. I'm also interest to see what Stan can do with Pistons.

MVP: D. Rose
Rookie of the Year: Jabari Parker
Most Improved: Steven Adams
Coach of the Year: Stan Van Gundy

Isn't Lance Stevenson already considered pretty good? Will he improve that much?

I agree but I think he has an all-star type year.

Remember a couple years ago when Paul George was pretty good, but he bumped up his stats to really damn good and they gave it to him?

I see that for Lance. Instead of 14/7/4.5 with shooting averages of 49/35/71 I think you will see 21/6/5 shooting 50/38/75 and more free throw attempts. He will have a huge year.

The formula for winning most improved is score more. He's really good, but in the eyes of the general public, he's barely ranked in the top 50 of players. If he scored 20 ppg, I guarantee he'd be seen as a top 20 player.

If he scores 20 ppg, I'd say he's a pretty good candidate, though I don't think it necessarily means he's improved as a player.

I honestly thought about this. With KD out for a while Russ might put up huge numbers. Maybe he finds his groove with KD and continues it. I hope the Thunder do good this year. They're fun to watch when healthy.

If KD was out longer he might have a legit shot if he kept OKC a top 3 seed. I just wanted to be a Homer. Lol They were one of the healthiest teams in the league for about 3 years, the last couple have been rough. I almost put Adams as my MIP, Brooks is an idiot though.

I doubt there's ever been a MVP by a guy who is teammates with last years MVP.

I don't think it happens. It would take other guys having a bad year to make it possible.

Yes I think a mediocre Knicks team will be able to get the final 8th spot which I imagine to again not be steep to get the final playoff spot.
