NBA Game Thread

I don't think the Blazers will make it in.

This year might be the first in forever that all the playoff teams in the east will be .500 or better.

Aldridge is sick. He's underrated because he's on Portland. Kind of like Granger on Indy only better.

He was shafted for a spot in the all-star game last year, and most definitely earned his spot this year.

Doesn't seem right. If he played for a big market, he's a shoe in. I would take him over most bigs. Definitely top 5 or 3.

Double OT??? Good game. So weird for you lol

Blazers are lucky to have him. I feel the same way about Granger. I know Aldridge is better and special but it's rare when we find these kinds of guys. Blazers and Pacers both used to draw in free agents but times have changed. The big ones don't want to go to either and we're lucky we don't have a mutiny with players trying to get out. I hate all of these new guys demanding to play where they want. Bad for the league imo

That's how it goes. I'm not sure how the CBA looks in terms of giving small market teams room to hang on to good players.

I feel the same as you. I feel fortunate that everybody on the Grizz is on the same page. Nobody has wanted out of Memphis. Even though the Grizz are well loved in Memphis, it can't sellout the arena night in and night out just because of how small the market is and because the city is poor.

Maybe by fans, cause of the market size, but I've heard some commentators put him in the conversation for best PF. I don't think he's in that conversation. Not a great rebounder. Even Dirk could get you 9 boards per 36 in his prime.

Let's go Knicks!

I'm pulling for the Heat.

Don't want the Knicks to move up to 6th if the Pacers finished 3rd. Woodson appears to be a much better coach than Spoelstra. Knicks are winning with good coaching, the Heat win because they're talented. Knicks could give the Heat a run for their money if it's 2 vs. 7. I don't want the Pacers to face the Knicks in the first round. Go Heat!

Pacers beating the Timberwolves 64-30 at the half.

6'3 George Hill had an awesome dunk put back virtually jumping flat footed under the basket.

After seeing it again, Hill wasn't flat footed when he went up for the put back. He does slow down right before going up for it though. Nice dunk for a guy that I don't recall seeing dunk this season. He actually had two tonight.

Epic Mavs - Jazz game entering 3rd OT.

It was awesome. My wife is from Dallas, and was pretty upset I didn't have the foresight to get tickets. Jazz playoff hopes still alive, and it only took 3OTs against a team that played an OT the day before.
