Just came out with the list of all time top 75 players to commemorate the anniversary. No Bernard King. I looked through the list to find who I’d kick off to add King. There was only one. But it was an easy choice. Dennis Rodman. There are about 30 players I’d put in his place.

How can the greatest rebounder ever, a man who won 5 championships and 2 DPOY's, not be in the top 75?

Personal choice on capabilities that make you great. Having no scoring skill at all rules you out by my criteria.

Yeah but this isn't the 75 "best" players. The list isn't about their talent. It's about what they accomplished and how they impacted the league.

Bernard King was a great scorer but his career was mostly irrelevant. He's Melo, who made the list, so it's not like King doesn't belong, I'm just defending Rodman.

That makes sense.
