He practiced today. First time this season. He did individual drills today without pads. Shooting for the SCe as a return.

I don't know, he RS'd last year. He'd probably need apply for it. We need him back to add some good depth at CB.

He'd need to be granted a 6th year of eligibility and typically, it seems like that only happens if a guy is injured during their senior year.

He needs to play this year... redshirted last year and will not get a medical redshirt 6th year if he is available to play this year and is held out by choice.

UT players never have any luck with the NCAA on this. Even in cases where it seems appropriate. Apparently Vols do not qualify.

Its been along time since we had a medical sixth season granted. The last I can remember was Jerry Colquitt. Then he gets hurt in the opener against UCLA.

Great news about Naz. If he's able to play and contribute, he should forego the RS.

If a guy who's never played a snap, comes off of an ACL injury, and is expected to contribute in our secondary....it doesn't say a whole lot about our DBs, or really puts our lack of depth into perspective. Although he could possibly help on special teams, which is fine by me.

Good to see he's out there working, though.

I think it's great, but I remember how being some being hurt in fall practice took awhile to get back to looking better. I think hunter would be a beast if it wasn't for the missed practices. I think it hurt jj a little bit too, and Brent brewer.

Didn't Naz have ACL surgery this spring? It seems way to early for him to be playing again.
