TX will win the Big 12...with only having played a 3 game schedule...Neb, OSU and OK...

Ummm. I don't want to turn this into a scheduling debate; however, TX will at least have to play Nebraska again. If not Nebraska, then a 1-loss Missouri team that will have beaten NU to get to the Championship game. OU, OSU, Nebraska (twice?), Missouri, at Texas Tech and ATM at home is not that bad of a schedule and not too far off the strenght of TN's. (I'll admit that TN's is a notch better; however, if you're going to attack schedule strength, there are better teams to harp on.)

That being said, I wouldn't be too surprised to see TX lose this weekend or in the Big 12 Championship game. I'm not being negative; I'm just being realistic.

If the SEC produces a one loss team and if one of the teams in the NC game is a one loss team... the SEC should withdraw if it isn't our team. Twice is enough.

This is especially true if that team happens to be Cal which is looking more possible all the time. The computers for some reason love them and hate UT even after UT clocked them. If the beat USC which I think they will then the computers will love them more and the pollsters will jump on the bandwagon too. They think Carroll walks on water.

What happens if Cal beats SC and they both finish with one loss....the compters will overheat and explode trying to figure out which team's @$$ to kiss the most and give the NC game bid too.:)

I like the Auburn vs. UT matchup idea with neither of them playing in the SEC CG. Anything that could screw up the BCS that bad must be a good thing.

i wouldn't expect anything less than a TX fan to defend the Big 12...so having said that....the Big 12 is not very good. Missou is a nice story, kind of like Wake Forest out this way. Nebraska is better, but they proved last Saturday they are not ready to take the next step...and btw...the way TX was playing in the 2nd and 3rd qtr...i'm amazed that they didn't blow NEB out...TX outplayed them all over the feild.

A&M is a fraud...and that will prove out over the next few weeks. TT is not even close to TX talent wise....they are a team built for show, that's it. there's no substance to that team whatsoever.

TX is good. TX is a top ten team. But TX has played 2 games against teams with equal or better talent. OK and OSU. IN a one game situation, TX is capapble of beating anyone. put them in a conf. where they have to do it every weekend....not so much.

Here it is! The ultimate beyond-doomsday scenario to endthe BsCS....are you ready for ARMAGEDDON!?!.....

15 one-loss teams....

1. Florida wins out, beating Arkansas in the SEC CG
2. Auburn wins out
3. Tennessee wins out
4. Clemson wins out
5. Tulsa wins out
6. Wisconsin wins out
7. Either Texas or Missouri wins out from the Big 12.
8. Cal wins out, beating...
9. Southern Cal, who then only has one loss
10. The winner of the Boston College/Wake Forest game should also only have 1 loss. (if Wake wins, they won't be in the ACC Title game)

Now, it gets tricky....
11. West Virginia loses to...
12. Louisville, who then loses to...
13. Rutgers, who loses to West Virginia
14. Either Ohio State or Michigan will have one loss...and if the winner of that game is upset by a patsy prior to the OSU/UM game, they become number 15.

This leaves Boise State as the only remaining unbeaten. Go SmurfTurfers!
(Can anybody tell I'm really bored at work?)

if that were to happen, Cal would play OSU/MIch winner for the NT.
