I don't really understand what that means. People come to UT to get a haircut and shave, then move on?

He was referencing all social media as the new age barber shops, bc barber shops were where the men used to gossip back in the day. It was a great quote and it would be great if the reference caught on. It would be great to get that into the lexicon along with the "where's Rommel?" and wash rag quotes.

Oh. I see. I guess he didn't pay much attention at LSU or the other places he has been if he things K-town is bad. I'm sure those years with the Dolphins had to be great.

I'll tell you exactly what he meant, he even referenced Randy Shannon as the prime example. "Skeeter" posted on this very site that CDD had told McCullers in person that CRS would be our next DC. This proves "Skeeter" was either lying (i dont think he lied) or he had no friggin clue (this was obviously proven by CDD's comments today) when he posted that crap here. I appreciate posters who are able to give real inside info as much as anyone, but those of you who take up for Skeeter, OCI and others when they are clearly guessing about things, look like idiots. Enough said.

I think you are wrong...I think they are told this.....or it is leaked out....Skeet, OCI have been fairly accurate....The Shannon thing was planted in their heads....

The national barber shop is a good description....Funny way of doing it...but it was a cut......Go into these sites and get a buzz.....

Its going to get worse.....I got the feeling....but most negative posters take any information and run with it....good bad or indifferent and spin it to the worse outcome.....

There are some media that were in with previous coaches that post on this site.....Dooley cut them off and now they are bashing him.....

Dooley is right he talked about Drama and choas and how some thrive on it....Welcome to the Barber Shop...
Gossip and cuts....much to do about nothing....just opinion....

Take everything that moves through here with a grain of salt and try not to get your panties in a wad....If you can't handle it move on...If you don't like it there are plenty of teams out there for you to take your negativity to...

I don't look at it any other way...It is what it is...College Recruiting and talk at the local bar.....or in Dooley's Case the Barber Shop.....

Consider the possibility that our insiders were fed incorrect info as part of the whole secrecy process. They vanished after the whole RS thing blew up. If I were one of them, and I found that I was being used to distract the barbershop customers and everyone else, I'd be awfully p1ssed, and I sure wouldn't be feeding anyone the company line, either.

Completely a guess, and maybe it didn't happen that way at all, but there's more than one explanation for usually reliable posters being way, way off.

Dools is saying sites like this are full of gossip and baseless rumors that do nothing but injure recruiting efforts. AND YOU PEOPLE ON HERE STILL DON'T GET IT ! :crazy:

I'm a really positive person and Vol fan.. I'm glad those guys are on the board because they keep things interesting and what not.. I used to take the things they said as gospel, but they clearly do not have the connections they claim to have, or they do, but exaggerate things their told or add a little here and there.. There is absolutely no way a reliable source inside UTs AD says something like that when it's totally false. But, everyone is free to believe whatever.
