I just got back from 4 days of boating on Pin Oak lake on the Natchez Trace state park. Beautiful area.....small lake but never crowded and we stayed in a lake front villa that will easily sleep 8 with a private dock for $150 a night. Anyone looking for a nice spot to take the family should take a look.

I went from Nashville to Tupelo on the Natchez Trace Parkway to visit my sister in Oxford a couple of months ago. White it was a very pretty drive, it was so boring with the speed limit at 55 and so many turns and curve. I got a ticket in the 40 speed limit zone for going 48 and got slapped with a 175 dollar ticket. Needless to say I'm never going that way again. But it is pretty through there and you get to go across the Tennessee River and see some Indian mounds as well

I just took 40. I have been told you really have to watch your speed on the parkway.
