how about you go first.

I will say addiction to those 2 is not a disease. It is a choice that you make. It is up to you yourself if you choose to start. You have 2 choices you can use or you cannot use. Can you start narcotics for something such as a injury sure you can. But this is were will power comes into the conversation. Do you have the will power to quit it when your supposed to. Mind over matter.

Addiction is a disease. What you become addicted to is a matter of choice. I've seen enough recovering addicts to know that it's a disease. Temptation will chase you like it's yo baby's momma.

I have no heart for addicts for the simple fact that i've seen children (personally) suffer at the hands of an addict and it's sickening.

I don't know, I've never been to NA.

I thought addiction being called a disease was stupid because aids and stuff are what I think of when I hear disease. But one time I read something that made sense of it being called a disease so I really don't know what I think. I can't decide.

Like someone said, I should have put this in the Pub. If a mod is reading this, would you please move it to the pub? The posters over there seem to be more intellectual.

Someone intellectual is likely able to decide. Someone intellectual is likely able to discern where a debatable topic not based in humor might belong in this vast website. Someone intellectual likely wouldn't get excited by a ringing cowbell and playing in something called the Egg Bowl.

Sorry the Zone wasn't intellectual enough for ya.

My addiction only means that I have a greater "appreciation" for certain substances than most people do. I can stop whenever I want, honestly - I swear.
