Napier downplays Neyland…..

I encourage everyone to listen to the entire presser. My thoughts were he’s being very respectful of TN and the entire program. He even speaks of family who are volunteer fans, and his Tennessee roots.

But if someone wants to take these comments and obtain a little extra juice from them, go for it.

Personally, I don’t think it makes one decibel of difference; the place is going to be crazy loud regardless.

Here’s the entire presse, Tennssee-related comments start around 1:55, “I’m very familiar with Knoxville and certainly the challenges that come with that.” Also, the “Canada” comments in context, were in response to how does he get AR to relax and play with poise.

There's nothing wrong with what he said. As opposed to what? "I don't trust our QB and he's going to **** the bed because Neyland will be bonkers."

He "downplayed" Neyland because that's his job.
It’s when he says a “little” louder, instead of saying it will be the loudest environment and they will have to adjust…..

Are we sure he didn’t downplay Neyland because they’re 16 of 17 with half those being in Neyland? Are we scared of Kroger field or that football away team Airbnb Vandy calls home? He’s not making a controversial stmt but let’s turn that garbage stat around this weekend.

Kroger Field holds 61k, so 40k less than what Neyland Stadium holds. I'm going to guess that makes a difference for why we wouldn't be scared of Kroger field.

For a Florida team that has struggled at home, that should cause some fear for an inexperienced QB that has truly not had to deal with any sort of crowd noise when communicating. I assure you, that will make a difference. I think Napier is going to regret that comment.

If fans need a reason to be loud and make communication difficult for the Gators, I question their loyalty. GBO!
I’m tired of all this scared treatment of Florida we got a coach now and he’s as loose as a coach we’ve ever had against Lizards I’ve ever seen and we are gonna smoke them Saturday they’re like what Tony Basiilo said Florida this year are Vandy equivalence I agree, show them no respect no mercy I hope Heup puts 70 on them…

He should downplay Neyland as Florida plays in big/loud venues often. Crowd can help with noise/emotions, but this game will be won between the white lines. GO VOLS!

So now you’re gonna yell louder than you already were because he said “little louder” instead of “ungodly louder?”

Napier’s really done it this time. Big trouble for Florida. Florida had a slim chance before these vile comments, now it’s no chance. 😊

Exactly. I mean is there a single gator fan in the entire state of Florida who doesn't know that Neyland is going to be the absolute loudest, worst possible environment crammed with rabid orange and white fans? Of course they all do, just like we know what it is like when we go to the Swamp.

Except this year, Neyland is going to make the Swamp seem downright peaceful by comparison.
