Based on everything so far, who do you all think has a better shot to succeed at UT?

Bray. He's going to be a monster.

Nance will transfer or be moved to something like TE.

I think Nance will prob be the better one unless Bray puts on about 30 lbs and can take the hits. Brays 40 time is pretty slow and Nance seems to be alot faster.

I could see him red shirting and getting a shot by his junior year. Hopefully Bray will do good enough to get drafted by then.

From everything I've heard, Bray has the physical abilities, but Nance has the slight edge as far as quick thinking in the huddle. He does have a 4.0

A 4 star that was invited to all the big camps and outshined everyone in the country vs a 2 star that was committed to Vandy. Hmm?

Peyton started out 3rd string and so did Clausen their freshman years.

So, by that formula, I'm going to go with....NANCE!

1) NS...benched
2) TB...hurt
3) NN...BINGO

Book it!

But really...I seriously think that any of the three could be it, and I think that it will come down to who is the biggest gym rat, a la Peyton. Ye who puts in the time gets the dime!

Bray, it's not even close.

Watch Bray's film, he has very good footwork and a very quick delivery. He also has a very good arm, tons of velocity. Not to mention that he is 6'6".

A Lot of people make a big deal about his weight, last I heard he was already at 200lbs.

By the time fall camp rolls around he should be about 210, him being an EE will give him a huge jump over Nance as well.

Nash Nance will be the starter, book it. While he may be a 2 star, his upside is higher than Peyton Manning's was when he committed to us. Honestly, if Nance doesn't win a Heisman his career was a flop in my opinion.

Playing QB isn't about speed. It has been said time and time again, but Peyton manning is not fast, at all, and was still the least sacked QB in the NFL this year. Having said that, its all about the internal clock and whether a QB can make the proper moves in the pocket to avoid the rush.

Bray showed all throughout his senior season that he could do that. Being here for spring workouts and practice gives him a HUGE advantage over Nance. With his frame he has plenty of room to add the weight necessary to withstand the hits. If he doesn't start for at least 3 years while here, I will consider it a bit of a disappointment.

Nance has a bright future after football, but his football looks like it may be limited to holding on kicks and quarterbacking the scout team.

What? What is Peyton's 40 time? How about Brady? Brees?

40 time means nothing when you run a pro-style offense, all the moving he needs to be doing is on roll out passes.

I know that speed is not everything but having speed does help you avoid the rush which we are goin to have to worry about unless we pull some OL in this years class.

Since Bray was an EE, Im sure the strength coaches will have at least 15 lbs. on him by spring!

We will sign at least 2 more OL ( Stone and Glass ).

Bray has all the tools to be all conference while at UT.

ESPN said he had the highest ceiling of any QB recruit this year.

A lot of his times are off he can actually run around 4.9 Bray will be the better QB.
