Name your biggest complaint from this season

Predictable runs up the middle, no improvement in kicking game through the season, defensive schemes, poor tackling and clock mismanagement.

The biggest disappointment was the secondary. We had a chance to be better there than we had in years, and due to Boo Carter’s charades, and the injuries of McCoy and Gibson we were subpar. We were always going to be a little softer on the D-line with the loss of O. Thomas, Norman-Lott, and Simmons. That was expected.

Bottom line, I think we have to reach into the portal for safeties and DT’s next year. Maybe a corner too. We should be set a linebacker and DE.

On offense we should have one of the best WR and O-line units in the league. RB will be solid at minimum. It comes down to the QB in 2026.

I think pride and playing for that T on your Helmet has been replaced by how much money you going to pay me. College football should have never gotten to this point. I wouldn't want to be a College coach in this environment. I take that back. I'd let them hire me then make them fire me and get that insane buyout..

I think this bad idea started in California. Are you surprised?

In my opinion we haven't seemed to improve during off weeks when we had two weeks to prepare for the opponent or maybe the opponent just improved more.

I may be wrong, but I think we have some Northwestern guys to thank for it. They quit making the college football game for this very reason..

I know they tried to unionize and it failed. I think the next push came from Cali. If we really want to go back didn't Ed O'Bannon argue for NIL?

I think so. They let the genie out of the box and he’s not going back in. That or you could say they opened Pandora's box. The land of no return I'm afraid.

Y’all did you hear Joey’s comments about practice habits? We didn’t play a 60 minute game all year. If you don’t practice well, it’s going to bleed out in the games.

Heupel: “good teams get better.” We were a fun offense (at times) and an opportunistic defense (at times) but we weren’t a good team. We never put it together. That’s what’s disappointing. We showed flashes but that’s all it was.

This is the biggest offseason for Heupel since he’s been here imo. We’ve got a lot to address before next season. We have a 🔝 10 class but again…all young guys. Going to have to go to the portal and bring in guys who fit the “culture”. Idc how talented a kid is, if he’s a Boo Carter and misses practice, get him out.

These are 18-22 year old knuckleheads. They need guidance. 2026 will tell us a lot about where we are as a program. Time is now!

Everything lands on CJH's shoulders. He's the Head Honcho...if he doesn't give a foook, why should the players and the fans? Has anyone seen him get in a zebras face....just ONCE? No. He had at least 2x Saturday he should have crawled down their throats. Yet, he stands there looking bewildered.

That seemed to be what finally drove Saban into retirement.
Closely related is that any coach that tries to install discipline among team divas ends up seeing them transfer into the portal.
As the Holy Book says, love of money is the root of all evil.

Disgruntled fans and couch quarterbacks can really destroy a program and cause coaches and staff to go to other programs where they'll be highly appreciated

Lack of passion and pride. What has made Tennessee actually be Tennessee is the fire in the belly and the will to demolish the opposition. I think that goes for both players and coaches. It’s like they are going to a job; not playing for the Power T.
We seem to have lost that chip on the shoulder that used to define our program.

Heup managing the clock like a bad middle school coach, kicking game anti clutch, Ethan Davis should've been TE1 from the get go just superior in every way, slowest safeties in the SEC for what seems like 2 decades, secondary in general, tackling absymal, sitting in the Vandy section while they kick our teeth in.
