you hope end under the new coaching staff.

I always seem to complain we dont tackle well in open space or at all.

Soft D coverage.

To conservative.

No fire in the players.

No swagger.

Lack of discipline

Players not fired up for games.

I believe both of these will change by next year though.

Pathetic special teams play, especially kick coverage. And don't forget letting the other team convert on third and long.

Isn't the Tampa 2 predicated on wrapping up and making the first tackle? Man..I hope we lose that unfortunate identify if we're going to try to implement the "Tennessee" 2.

Practice the Maxims on the field on Saturday, rather than half ass recite them.

I miss, very badly, getting rowdy in Neyland. The possible enegry there is off the charts.

1. Special Teams
2. Tackling
3. Way to Conservative
4. Lack of using skill players *such as TE's
5. Offensive Line *You watch teams like Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, USC... what do you always see? No matter what the offensive lineman never quit pushing... Us.. we quit every down. You never see our offensive lineman pushing our running backs when they get gangtackled.
6. Lack of energy
7. Outcoached
8. Lack of Discipline
9. Lack of respect for the Tradition of Tennessee football. We have players who think just because they are highly rated when recruited think all of a sudden they deserve special treatment. Earn it. Then you'll get your praise.
10. Lack of trust within the team.

Lack of dicipline on and off the field
Inability to get the best players on the field
Won't play younger players
Many players do not seem to get better. Some seem to regress.
Average X's and O's
Coaches lack of ability to adjust to game situations
Soft D, especially on 3rd downs

1) Play to win and not to lose.
2) Go for the throat when we are winning.
3) Actual Special Teams coach.
4) Dump the class rank.
5) Most important...NO POLICE BLOTTER

The best practice of the year happening every other Tuesday, followed by a beatdown on Saturday.

Getting young players developed and immediately contributing
Special teams
Giving up 3rd down conversions at the most critical part of the game (when you just need one stop to put the game away)

Not knowing how to utilize skilled players
Not throwing down field
Playing soft defense with a lead in the 4th quarter
No Special Teams
No passion on the sidelines

Bubble screens
lack of going for it on 4th and inches when momentum is needed
tailback left, tailback right, incomplete pass, punt
laughter when we are getting drilled
talking about the past
freshmen that "can't get the blocking scheme" excuse
clapping all the damn time

How about needing 8 & getting 6......or needing 6 & getting 4.....or needing 4 & getting 2?

That has been driving me nuts forever....as well as our special teams not being able to cover.
