"Kiffin is a great recruiter......look what he did at USC"

Since LK was hired, this "falsehood" has been propagated in attempt to help justify his hiring. Now I'm sure that the excuses will be flowing in an attempt to put a smiley face on what happened today, but when Mississippi State out recruits you, you're just not that good. LK was never a "great recruiter" as was evident today. I received alot of grief when I said as much when he was first hired. Unfortunately, there are many more falsehoods about LK's abilities that will evident this spring, and (more importantly) this fall.

Sad day to say the least. And for all that want to bring PF into this, please spare us.........LK owns this class. Congrats LK.

I think he did a good job of addressing this in his Signing Day Press Conference.

If you think anything on earth had a bigger impact on this class than a 5-7 season littered wit embarrassing losses, you're a bigger idiot than I originally assumed.

Really 5150, I was not a Kiffin backer at the beginning, and I was a big Clawson guy, but this class is better than Phil did last year. Lord knows the coaching is probably going to be better.

Here, have some kool-aid...

So how many threads are there now claiming CLK is a failure because of this class? I've lost count.

In two months on the job, Kiffin delivered twice as many 4-star players as Fulmer did in last year's recruiting class.

Kiffin and staff haven't been around long enough to blame for anything. I took the liberty of appropriately tagging this thread.

Coupled with what we already have, Yeah I'm quite a bit more optimistic than others.

My guess is we have a 8-4 type season next year so.... thats four times or so more I will see you post here?

How can anyone question the direction this program is going. While watching the signing day presser, I kept thinking that the days of signing numbers just to make us look good is over. How many times has Fulmer signed a ton of kids that were never heard from again?
