My suggetion....

Stay away from the Redneck Riviara and go either to Va Beach or Savannah Ga. Maybe even Hilton Head.

We picked Ocean Isle because of a nice W I D E,uncrowded beach, you can get a nice 4BR house for less than 2k/week and your 30 minutes from Myrtle.

Good point. Wrightsville can get pretty crowded as a public beach. I'd rather be close to Wilmington than Myrtle though.

How far is Ocean Isle from Carolina Beach? The Cape Fear Aquarium is around there and I liked going there... the USS North Carolina can be an interesting tour too, except I guess a bunch of high schoolers on vacation could care less about that.

Aquariums? Boat tours? You're getting old Remus.

Back in the day we never had any problems getting rooms at Jekyll Island GA. We were all under 21. Not much to do at Jekyll though.

A bunch of 18 year old Southern boys should make the trip to Ocean City, MD. Filled with gorgeous young ladies in the summer time who would enjoy the novelty of the Southern accent. Also, only hours away from Annapolis, D.C., and Baltimore, so if they are interested in things historical, they could get that fix too.
