Fts obvious. What a joke. Other items:

-Estrella soft on 2 rebounds resulted in 5 pts.
-Okpara has no hands and no game so quit feeding him unless it’s a lob
-Gillespie struggled on defense and O.
-arky made some shots dogs make. Some lucky
-and Ament. 3/8 from field. 3/9 from line and some 1 and 1s. Soft on defense. 2 violations 10 second and 5 second where he didn’t run the line or pass to open player. This is the 3rd of 4 losses that are likely wins if he doesn’t play a minute. He’s not even the best freshman on the team, much less top 5 player on the team. Embarrassing.

Evans best freshman on the floor. Ament had a bad day and we can only hope this is a one off. Free throw shooting must not be much of a priority for this team. They will or have already lost games because they can't even make half of them.

Hard to argue facts. Ament should not be starting. Maybe he'd be better off the bench like Mashack was early on in his time.
Well on the bright side of this he may not play well enough for a one and done and could stay around more seasons of development. May be "hitting the freshman wall".

they of course shoot a lot of fts. Games are different and it gets mental.
I mentioned in another thread the importance of the first ones going in so the team sees them go in. Like seeing a good golf shot instead of one OB right. Puts a bad mental image. And of course we start out 1-4.
Ament needs to scoot off the line 2 inches. Every miss is long.

If he doesn’t improve, do you really want him to come back? I think he has too much pressure on him and he, at this point in development, he can not handle it. He, for sure, doesn’t need to bring the ball up the court or drive to the basket.. His handle is just yet not good enough to do it.

I sure wouldn’t have him back next season at this season’s NIL$

you certainly want him back. You can see tremendous potential there, it just hasn't come out yet.
The problem with the one and dones, you don't have the luxury of bringing them along slowly.
Ament is a high 4*, should never be considered a one and done. Barnes has little choice but to hope
the return on investment starts payoff within next 3-4 games.
