I am probably drinking grandma's old cough syrup but here is what I think would be a cool concept.

16 teams, 4 divisions adding Oklahoma, Texas Am, Virginia Tech, and Florida St. (I know Okla is a long shot but the others I believe will join. I know the SEC is pursuing Oklahoma that is why I put them in here.

Division 1--Alabama, Auburn, Miss, Miss. St.
Division 2--Texas AM, Oklahoma, LSU, Arkansas
Division 3--Florida, Florida St, S. Carolina, Georgia
Division 4--Tennessee, Vandy, Kentucky, Virginia Tech

The top team in division 1 and 2 play each other in a semi final game while the top team in division 3 and 4 play each other this could be done in atlanta in one week. The winners then face each other for the SEC Championship at lets say Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, or the Superdome in New Orleans for example. I may be out of my mind but I think this would be incredible for the SEC Football.

Are bracket would be the best of the bunch if this happened. Bracket 2 would suck and Bracket 3 could really suck if FSU gets turned around.

if your going to dream, dream big...
SEC WEST... TEXAS, OKLAHOMA, TEXAS A&M, OKLAHOMA STATE
SEC SOUTH... LSU, ARKANSAS, OLE MISS, MISS STATE
SEC EAST.... ALABAMA, AUBURN, FLORIDA, GEORGIA,
SEC NORTH... TENNESSEE, SOUTH CAROLINA, VANDY, KENTUCKY (not that I tried to stack the odds in favor of the vols)

Geographically, this makes the most sense, but we are not getting texas or ok or ok st. just the facts.

where is all this talk about oklahoma moving to the s.e.c. coming from? i've heard from numerous sources here that joe castilone, the o.u. a.d. has said that whatever texas wants, o.u. will bend over for. and texas has made it pretty clear that it isn't interested in mixing with southern riff raff.

I've seen numerous divisional breakdowns should all the teams mentioned join the SEC. This is far and away the best one I've seen. Very well thought out IMO.
