Believe me, I am no fan of Cho's image or his twisted legacy, but the best explanation I can offer is that I wanted to do something distinctly different from the many tribute videos showing up online, not to impugn their sincerity or importance. Mine was intended to be more like an historical collage that includes elements from the entire story. This is why I chose to include the dark images from Cho's NBC package - because they're as much a part of the event as are the victims and the memorials - in an academic sense, I guess. They are disturbing and grotesque to me, but they are part of the history, and that's what my vid was telling as best I could in a short time. In the many documentaries that are surely to come along about this awful event, I feel sure many of them will display some of his images for the same reasons I put them in my vid. But I definitely appreciate the point you are making, and again, thanks for checking it out.
