I just posted this in Gruden 10 million so I apologize but I wanted to get this off my chest!
So now we really know that Currie ask and Gruden said no thanks. Currie did not make that public knowledge but chose to let Gruden be his smokescreen. Total BS.
It's time to move on from Gruden as he is never going to be UT's coach. I've been a huge advocate for him for years now but to no avail.
I cannot believe people feel good about trolling our fan base, so all the so called insiders can "GTFO"!
I'm really pissed like many today, as UTK got drug through the $h!t hole yesterday and now today by media and press. The fan base stood up along with many rivals yesterday and said NO WAY do we want to allow someone be in leadership at our school with this type of background. That part I'm extremely proud of.
We as UT nation will survive and recover someday. I'm really concerned now at the direction and coach that will come here based on what has transpired. I'm praying for someone great, who wants to be here and will poor his heart and soul into our school and program.
Hopefully over the next week or so we will have a new coach in place who stands for what our principles are about. I'm going to be 100% behind them as this is the only way I know to get past this now. We have to be united as a fan base and support the next Coach even if it's not who YOU wanted.
Go Vols always and forever!
