It's a much better problem to have new guys with really high ceilings making mistakes than an overperforming roster without real talent and size at this point of the season.

We remind me of several Kentucky teams over the past couple of decades, at this point. . . Really set up to gel and make a run in the spring.

We beat a Gardner-Webb team by 16 to start the year last year…..

19 TOs Vs 5 TOs > Barnes will fix that. -14 Differential will not win very many games.

11 Players with 10+ minutes.

This is coaching and determining the right mix for the right time.

Pretty much all fixable with options - A ton of information provided in this game to determine who is where on a young team.

We have Veterans on this team but not as many as we had last year with 2 to 4 years of experience.

My prediction:

Overall: 24-6
Home Record 18-2
Road Record: 6-4

I think that we'll be good defensively. Offensively, we'll put up good numbers, but will still have trouble with shooting the ball and handling the ball will be a weakness for us as well.

We're starting Bishop Boswell and some of you think we're going to win 26 games.

What do you think of Boswell's game high 19 plus/minus? Hmmm. He looked pretty good as a backup point guard. jmo

I am more inclined that he is looking at players and giving everyone a chance to see what they do on the floor.
Of course it is about team cohesion and who plays better with whom, but it is also about matching our players up against other players (quick, physical, finesse) to see how they do. Did they follow the scouting report. Did they do what they were supposed to do. If not, we look to fix it in practice.

We did see that Barnes wants to play fast. Let's see if the team can do fast AND get/keep the TOs down!?!?!
