:eek:lol:

Go do some research please before you try to compare Clawson and Hatcher because Hatcher is head and feet above a better coach than Clawson.

I'm not saying they should hire Hatcher.

I'm just saying they shouldn't hire Leach,Kelly,Kiffin,Butch, and Cowher.

Well jeez... who else is left?

Hatcher>Clawson.

Clawson was just an average coach in FCS football who hadn't had any respectable success.

Hatcher has won DII National Championship and built the Valdosta State Football machine.
Brian Kelly won 2 D-II titles.

We are not going to hire a no name for this coaching job. It will be someone BIG. You will have heard of him. Just be patient--nobody but Hammy and the higher ups know who it is, and when they are ready, they will let us know.

(or leak it to ESPN)

I'ld rather have a quality coach than a "big name" coach...

Thank god we have another thread about the coaching search. I don't know what I would have done with myself without it.

We're going through a similar situation to what happened with Ohio State in 2000 with the dismissal of John Cooper, big names being thrown around and it was solved by hiring a no-name at the time in Jim Tressel.
Tressel was not a "no-name." He had won about five 1-AA national championships at Youngstown and had been mentioned as a candidate for major-college jobs for years. He had as big of a national profile as any 1-AA coach has ever had.
